What is Your Soul Seeking?

Are your days aligned with doing what you love?

The older I get the more I find myself yearning to spend my days doing what I love and what nourishes my soul. I'm not sure if this is a result of realising that life is going pretty darn quick and I need to spend my precious time wisely, or whether it's a result of the education and resources we now have available to us all, empowering & encouraging us to find the courage to pursue what we love more and more. Maybe it's a combo of the two! Is there something urging you to take action? Don't we owe it to ourselves to explore what it is that brings us our greatest happiness? As Fredrickson said... 'The things you are passionate about are not random, they are your calling.' We all know that feeling we get when we are doing what we love and our soul is aligned with our deepest desires. We feel ...

  • energised

  • alive in the present-moment awareness

  • as though we have effortless focus

  • that time flies

  • dedicated to it

If you are someone who is on an adventure to explore what inspires you, or you already know what it is that feeds your soul, here are some questions to ponder... What am I drawn to? architecture, nature, gardening, antiques, people, art, food, animals, clothes, books, design, entrepreneurial ventures, personal development, spirituality, children, elderly, travel, academic study, research, data, languages, health & well being, medicine, holistic therapies, poetry ... It's usually something that you love to think about, read about and talk about! What is it about this, that brings me such deep fulfillment? How much time each day/week am I dedicating to what I love? How could I integrate what fulfills me, more into my life? What difference would it make if I did allow myself the time and energy to invest in it? Investing in what feeds your soul isn't always about giving something up, it can be about making space to allow it in.
